Located outside the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires in the Provincia, Peumayen B&B provides a very different view of life in BA.  The view you will get is of the life of people in one of Argentinas nicest neighborhoods.

I have been to BA many times, but have always stayed in the city.  I wanted to see what life was like in the suburbs, and see if anyone really lives in a house in Buenos Aires.

Vicente Lopez had almost 270,000 residents in the 2010 census, and has residents of mostly Italian and Spanish decent.

I found Peumayen B&B on Booking .Com, and stayed here for 4 days.  There are restaurants located with easy walking distance.

This is a small family run business that goes out of their way to make you feel at home.  Below are some pictures.  It is a cozy place to stay, and you will see another side of life in Argentine.  It is the real Argentina where you actually get to meet and talk with the owners.  The owners are conversant in English, and will go out of their way to make you feel at home.  Free WiFi in available along with a free continental breakfast.

If you want a quiet restful stay in the Buenos Aires area, you will be happy you selected and stayed at the Peumayen B&B in Vicente Lopez.

Transportation to and from Buenos Aires

The commuter train to and from Buenos Aires is about a 10 minute walk to the station.  It is a very pleasant walk.  Check with the staff for the latest train schedule.
